I scraped the crap out of my lip. I was irritated, got in my car and hit a curb. GRRRR. It did not help my mood at all.

sandpaper + spray paint and it looks OK, but I shed a few plastic clips.

My road bike fits well. Only the front wheel has to come off.

I went back and [sheepishly] collected the missing plastic clips.

And got a smoothie.

I need to look closer at the hoods up next 86 meet. That seems like you did get jipped.

Don't worry, it will happen more.

Lava to green?

You will have to dismantle the car to cover everything!

I know... I guess green and orange don't look bad together but yeah while engine bay would have to be stripped and at least some of the interior trim would need pulled

Happy 8/6 everyone! It's also the one year anniversary of when I first drove a twin.

To celebrate I did an OFT stage 1 flash... Let The Madness begin!

A million people have tried to describe the results of this tune in a million different ways. My take on it after one drive is that it definitely makes the power band suit the gearing a lot better than the factory tune. Is there more power? Probably, but without looking at dyno graphs it just feels like when I shift, the revs are dropping down to the very top of the torque dip or just past it, so there's much less climbing out of the basement than before.

Now the question is header or E85 or both? I can get E85 in my town, but I'm just a little nervous about taking longer trips and getting stuck between stations.

Spend the money on flex fuel (does OFT support that yet?). Or bring your OFT to reflash

Thanks, Ashikabi! I was wondering about flex-fuel too, but just haven't taken the time to sift through all the threads and figure out if it's possible. If anyone knows please please let me know.

Rookie question but what do you mean by take it to reflash?

OFT can flash whenever you want as many times as you want. You could bring your OFT with you when going out of town to flash back to 91 in case you couldn't find e85. Keep in mind e85 is between 70 and 85% ethanol. Without flex fuel you can't run a tune for the full 85% or damage to your motor could ensue. E85 tunes are downtuned for this already, which means if you found real 85%(which is surprisingly rare in the Midwest, dunno about elsewhere) you couldn't make use of the extra power that 15%ethanol offers you.

Just another argument for flex fuel. There is no guess work or worrying. Just fill up and go. Watch your content gauge to see which stations are running 70% and which ones have the really good stuff. I recommend the Delicious Tuning flex fuel kit. The cheap option is fine, the race upgrade is unnecessary. Moto East looks like they have a solid kit too. If you can't find one without a ECUtek license, just email them.

Install is easy. Just cut a fuel line, insert sensor. Run the plug they the fire wall. Attach analyzer unit to ground and power with a circuit splitter, plug sensor into analyzer. Depending on if you got an analyzer with built in gauge or external, you'll mount the analyzer and gauge. Run your signal wire to the ecu in the passenger kick panel. You may have to pin it into an existing plug on the ecu. The kit I got used on the forum had a jumper with the wire already pines and I literally unplugged the ECU and stuck the jumper between the wire harness and ecu. Flash your tune and you're good to go

Beat Sonic Phone Mount QBF13

Phone mount link here:
http://www.beatsonicusa.com/qbf13.html

I've been searching around for a decent phone mount for awhile and I'm excited to find something that actually works pretty well for me. If you're looking for something that wont damage your interior pieces I believe this might be what you're looking for.

Install takes about a minute. Just remove the trim piece by hand

No drilling or adhesive required.

What I like most about this mount is the clip has a protective felt backing so it wont damage your trim pieces.

Notice there is just enough gap that the metal clip does not interfere with the adjoining trim pieces. No dents!

The cell phone holder itself needs to be purchased separately on beatsonics website. Luckily, I found one my old phone mounts that fits with the qbf13

My dinosaur phone. Hope you guys find this helpful. Stay tune for more updates.
