Ran to the top of Multnomah falls... People were looking at me like I was some sort of mad man...

I ran a race to the top of Sandia Peak (Alb, NM) once. Came in dead last because I took a wrong turn.

If I ran up there they would be looking at me like "I wonder if the evac chopper will get him to the hospital in time"

Trailhead started at 7000' and I think it was about 8 miles to 10,600'.
It was a looooong 20 years ago. Multnomah Falls trail is steep as hell. That's some grueling shit.

I need to stop picking my toenails. It's really not all that comfortable when you add wearing soaking wet steel toe boots into the mix.
On a more positive note, recently I've made a commitment to better dental health. Bought a nice toothbrush (Philips DiamondClean) and some of those floss stick things. Flossing is still a pain in the ass, but it only takes about a minute now, with minimum hassle versus using regular floss. Edit: blown away by the fact that I can charge the toothbrush in either a cup or the carrying case. What a time to be alive. |

Reminds me of the old joke about a young bull and an old bull standing on a ridge line looking down upon a meadow with several young heifers that were in heat. The young bull said, lets run down and screw one of them ....... the old bull said, let's walk down and screw them all ......
