I was kidding. Anyone getting medical advice on line deserves ribbing.

I might wait until I'm back home (5 days). Will make an appointment with my family doctor and get up to date on my boosters.

If you suffer these symptoms (over and above your normal hangover symptoms) you may wish to seek medical attention......

Don't fuck around with a puncture wound, especially a deep one. I would not enjoy reading about your experience with septicemia. Look it up.

When I was about your age I got a puncture wound in my foot that didn't seem like much of anything until I noticed a red stripe running up the side of my calf. They rushed me straight to the ER and hooked me up to an antibiotic IV.

Sitting in the ER right now. Just got off the phone with my boss and he doesn't sound pleased

Edit: there's about a million cute as heck nurses here. Glad I came

A few years ago, I hung my timber tongs from the joist beam in my back country barn.

Some time later, it fell down and bit me in the forearm. I felt it strike bone and it took some force to get it out. The wound was open and had a lot of white stuff in it.
I splashed some whisky on it, invented some dark profanities, taped it up and got back to work. It left a cool scar.

A few lessons learned:
- Don't hang heavy and sharp objects directly above work areas.
- Don't use duct tape on a hairy body part.

Getting a tetanus shot sounds like a very good idea. Never crossed my mind.

"had to run the two older granddaughters down to cheerleading camp"

This is probably the bravest thing ever seen said on a forum full of young dudes!
Can't wait to see what direction it goes in.

I guess it would be a bad idea to discuss the last time I picked up some cheerleaders...

Hey, you wanted to see where it went...
