I love the FD2 CTR design that was really the peak of the CTR performance. Honda needs to do a CTR sedan form as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I saw @johan 's type R yesterday, they look a lot nicer in person, more subtle, smaller.

I am at odds with the internet when I say this, but I don't think it is ugly. Definitely over the top, but decent looking. The only real problem I have with the styling is the massive fake vents.
That being said, honda wants everyone to know you are driving the fastest fwd car in the world. It is a statement I guess |

I personally think they did a great job with not only the type R but the 10th gen civics all together. With the introduction to their 1.5T engines that you can get in some base models, the sports, as well as the Si (Si has a slighter bigger turbo with slightly more boost) make these cars a blast to drive. I haven't had the luxury to drive a type R yet but I was able to get to sit in the one our dealership got in. I was considering leasing myself a new Civic sport hatch as a daily after I got to drive a brand new one on the lot. The interior is top notch (compared to our cars) and like I stated before it was a blast to drive with the 1.5T and 6speed manual. The new civic Si's are doing a little much with their wings and single exhaust tips but I really like the seats in those. I would buy the new Civic Type R in a heartbeat at MSRP (if I had the income to afford my FRS and the CTR) but unfortunately our dealership's first Type R sold for 55k.. which is 20k over MSRP!

Those 20" wheels look ridiculous, especially on the back.

It looks like it was designed by an origami 8th dan suffering from a severe case of OCD whilst abusing Saki on his long coffee/cigarette breaks!! Does it come with a brown paper bag with 2 holes cut into it.. I know, I know its not very origami going round cutting holes in paper but you'll need the holes otherwise can't see where you are going.

I just saw this car in person this evening while walking home. Honda did a really good job with those press pix cuz the car is an eyesore in real life, something like a 1:1 scale DUBCity toy. Maybe it'll look a little better with 19" wheels instead.

This might be a silly question, but how do cars like the Civic type R and Camaro SS with magnetic/adaptive dampers tolerate wheels that are not the OEM size? Do the electronics automatically adjust themselves or do they need to be adjust in some way? |
