What do you guys tell the dealer to have them not wash your car?

Bringing in my car to a new dealer for warranty/service so trust hasn't been quite developed yet. I have a sign that I will be posting up inside the car as well but other than that I'm going out on a limb here.
Super important to me because my car is opticoated and don't want to risk anything.

Is there something I can do to tell them to write it down on their documents?

It's because the dealership washing your car will just turn it in to a massive swirl fest. Some people care about this, some people don't. Generally they just use 1 bucket, so when the mitt goes in, it picks up all the particles of dirt and stuff that are already in the bucket along with the soap, and grinds that in to your clearcoat.

They also don't change the water in the bucket after every wash, the chemicals they use on the interior are generally pretty harsh and unnecessary, they can end up doing more harm than good in the long run, the wheel cleaners they use are acidic a lot of the time and can damage the wheels, they clean in the engine bay by hosing it down and spraying with cleaners which just isn't the right way to do it.

Also, when they dry your car, they'll take a squeegee to it first, which will create swirls, and then use a leather shammy to dry it off, instead of a microfiber cloth, which once again, will create swirls.

Oh and, if your car has dead bugs and stuff on it, the cleaners they'll use to remove that are really aggressive and can actually damage the paint/clear coat, especially if left on for too long.

Pretty sure u misread my question and saw why instead of what

Regardless, very fair analysis! That is why I don't plan on letting any dealer ever wash my car!

Oh, woops. Yeah that's what I read. My mistake! I usually just tell them not to wash it, and then leave a little note somewhere, either on the seat, or the steering wheel with a reminder on it.

I don't think ANYONE has myspace anymore...

They only do one HyperMeeting per year if I'm not mistaken, so you might be out of luck until next season.

Anyone have experience installing new sidemarkers?

I switched the oem ones to clear jdms but for the life of me can't pop them back in to where they can't be pulled out. Looking for suggestions please!

What brand of clear JDM side markers are you trying to install?

That's weird. Have you checked the any DIY replacement guides? I only heard how non-OEM parts (like the Helix side marker lens) would have a difficult time popping in/staying in place. I actually ordered my OEM side markers just recently too...
