Help please. Will these wheels/tires fit?

I am looking to purchase wheels/tires for my FR-S. Suspension height is stock at the moment but I will put some drop in it in the near future.

I'm not super up to speed on what offset, backspacing and all that other jazz on a tire really translates to... I really just want to know.. will TAB A fit into SLOT B without any issues?

Thanks!!

The metal I'm looking is:

Enkei Performance Series GW8

and the rubber:

Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec

Those are nothing special. They are the exact same width and size as the stock rims.

Also, if you use the vehicle configurator thing properly, they will always fit. Tirerack will measure a customer car to confirm fitment before putting the config up on their website.

So in theory, as long as your using the config tool, you should be fine. I don't see any problems.

Here I was thinking you were trying to get 9 inch wheels like I want. 7 inch wheels will clear with room to spare as long as you get the correct offset.

Well I think the offset is different between that one and factory. Factory is 48mm and those are 42mm.. Still good?

If the offset is +42, it means it is pushed outward (think "away" from the car). It should fit just fine.

There's another vehicle with a 17x7 +42 in the wheel gallery.
