Man this thread went deep....

How about the geopolitical repercussions of over fishing in the Asian Pacific?

well given the vast migratory patterns of most fish such as blue fin tuna and the variety of predators that depend on those fish the impact can be very serious indeed.

unfortunatly recent actions taken to help reduce over fishing haven't accomplished much even as fish production has stagnated over the last 20 years or so.

In recent years, international meetings on managing the Pacific bluefin tuna (Thunnus orientalis) and seafood auctions for this species have sparked headlines, such as those below, advocating urgent action to reduce overfishing or exclaiming at the astronomical prices for a single large fish.

This was quite possibly the most insane overreaction to a simple mistake I've seen in awhile.

You have been online today....
Listen, Dave I'm a man who prides himself in the highest levels of customer satisfaction. I work in this area and go above and beyond for customers. If he had left a message that his whole company was on vacation I would be more understanding. I tried to contact his company 4 ways to let him know about this. I'm sure that most of you guys on here don't give a shit about service but I'm not you guys. What I can't understand is that some folks on here have said Gruppe-S is notorious for not answering messages or phone calls yet that implies to me Gruppe-S knows that they have a customer service issue way before me. If you guys want to continue to make excuses for them be my guess.

I'm happy at least 1 or 2 guys in this thread understands this! The main reason I didn't respond to this thread anymore is because 90+% of folks on here will side with the vendor anyway.

Tcoat, did you even read what I wrote? I contacted them 4 different ways and his whole company went on vacation without leaving any messages. You guys are still missing the friggin point. I'm done with this thread..

Right?!?! It's been a few days and he hasn't said anything back. Somebody ban him immediately. This is ridiculous. No excuse for anybody to not reply to a thread immediately, especially when they've been on the forum.

This is ridiculous! This guy is full of it!!!!!
I like how you say it's ridiculous that I'm not replying to this thread yet the main reason I open this thread is because a vendor didn't have the audacity to let customers know they are on vacation. I paid my money to Gruppe-S and so they owed me some kind of explanation. I don't owe shit to you *****. I'm not the one with this internet e-thugging bs you're running.

The matter is resolved. At this point, it would be wise to simply lock the thread.
I'm not ashamed though. They made the mistake and they said sorry. If they had left a message on their phone about being on vacation there would've never been a thread to begin with.

The problem with most people is they take complaints too personal. If I owned a business that got complaints about specific things I would address it as I personally believe that's how a business thrives. You can sell a great product but have shitty service and still fail too but this message will probably fall on deaf ears anyway.

So.. how long did it take for Gruppe-S to respond from the day you received wrong item?? Im not here to protect anyone, but I guess it really doesn't matter how many times you tried nor how may different ways you tried. I consider it fair if seller/vendor response in 2-3 days. Yeah, they made 2 mistakes 1. Put shipping label on wrong item which is understandable. 2. They didn't put any form of notice saying they are not available for few days. However, he eventually came out and responded to your order issue and tried to correct it asap from the point he noticed & he apologized as well. So I still think that you owe at least adding updates as what and how this matter is handled. And leave judgement for each individual. Just my opinion...

That seems to be the common thing to say without adding what they could've done to better the situation by letting customers know the whole entire fleet is on vacation/out of town. It's like a parent who makes excuses for a child rather than acknowledging what they did was wrong. People have said the they are hard to get a hold of. If you start a retail business these are things you must look forward to.

Fair way of thinking. He refunded me my money so all is well now but the wrong item being shipped was never the BIG issue. It's communication. If he has had communication issues in the past which it seems he does as 2 guys in this thread has said then leaving a message would've easily sufficed.

Lol calm your tits. You clearly didn't see the sarcasm in the post.

And yeah, they did owe you an explanation. Problem is you gave them like 37 minutes before getting your panties in a bunch and freaking out.

and "e-thugging"? That's cute. I see no "e-thugging" here. I see a lot of e-crying though.
