Replacing headers in NorCal?
So I've been looking and was thinking about replacing the stock header with this:
https://www.86speed.com/products/jdl...th-header.html My question is, will me car not pass smog if I do? |

How difficult would it be to swap them?
My car is relatively new, 2016 with 17k miles. |

I was told by my friends that it should be fine, but some said it might be worrisome... 2013 Scion FRS @Exrald.frs

I have a catless header, and the car smells funny on start up. It goes away once the second cat warms up though.

Being from AZ, I just can't stand CARB. What does a "visual" inspection tell anyone other than you don't have OEM parts? It should depend on a sniffer and/or the OBDII test, at most. If the sniffer doesn't go off, and the computer doesn't show anything weird, what's the difference?
