Those kids sure do have a talent....

I tried my future son-in-law's skate board once, back about 15 years ago, I put one foot on the board, pushed off with the other foot ...... fell off ......

THE END

Yeah they can skate, that's for sure. I have gone to a few of his competitions (he enters them a lot- there's a lot of skating in this area) and I see him and the others doing stuff I could never do- even when I was that age. He wins often enough that I don't have to buy him skate decks anymore (see when he breaks that skateboard in the film? Yeah that's a regular thing with him) because he wins new ones.

He wants to go to college for film production and his grades last year were great. They have all been working on this since last winter.

I'm afraid not.

I do recall the skate board shooting off down the sidewalk, as I fell backwards.

However, due to my Army training, of falling out ......errrr ...... I mean JUMPING out of Huey helicopters, I went into a tuck and roll (also known as a combat roll) and safely landed, ready to skate another day ....... which never came ......

(maybe that's why my hip hurts every morning .... ??)

I have no Army training. when I did that, I bounced my head off the sidewalk. Joe laughed, grabbed his skateboard and my career as a sk8r was over.
