I'd have to look at them again... I'm ok with mine for now though.

Try to see them in person, if possible. Pictures do not do them justice. They are much classier and expensive looking than the standard 13-16 tails.

They're also sealed, all LED, and are a direct plug and play swap - no relay required.

I love those pictures (and the car too obviously). Did you take them yourself?

Probably the last pics of my engine bay as I know it prior to installing the red '17 manifold, Velox fuel rails and brackets.

Thanks for the compliment on the pics... I did take them by the way... I have a background in photography and a bachelor's degree in graphic design.

Okay you would be just the person to ask then. What's a good intro camera to elevate my pics somewhat? I'm looking at a bunch of Canons but apart from model names, they all look the same to me.

I'm using a @10 yr old Nikon D90... I believe it qualifies as a semi-pro camera. I haven't kept up with new camera technology or features... either way I'm a Nikon kind of guy although I believe Canon is a great brand as well. There are many great options for intro cameras... I'll steer you towards B&H photo... they are highly regarded and offer great prices. Read reviews of the intro cameras in your price range to help you decide. Hope that helps.

So I didn't get started on my manifold, fuel rails and brackets install on Tuesday but I did get the brackets stripped and polished yesterday... I'll post pics of the brackets later. I also fixed my loose license plate bracket... no more crooked plates in pics!

It looks like l'll get my installs completed on Saturday though... can't wait! If it is not raining or wet outside, I'll pull the 86 out and get some good shots of my new look engine bay.

Here is an aggressive low angle front shot... It may be my second favorite shot of my recent mini shoot.

After getting a late start to the day I decided to re-sand and polish my fuel rail brackets because although they looked ok... I could have done a better job. I overworked some spots to the point where I basically burned the metal. 2nd time around turned out much better but took up several hours of my day.

And then I began my '17 intake manifold and fuel rail installs. I had some issues taking off some hoses and a few other workarounds but I got the manifold installed. I just have to transfer over the fuel dampers and injectors to the Velox rails and install them. Then I'll go back and verify the install...

I may get to finish it tomorrow... we'll see...

Pics coming soon...

So I got everything installed but the fuel rail brackets... I need to bring my crow's feet from work so I can torque the AN fittings. Can't wait to have these installs 100% complete!

Is there anything additional required to run the 17+ red manidold on previous years? Or is it a straight swap?
