No problem. After being away from home for a month the desire to do nothing won out over the desire to go on a drive so I was on the couch doing nothing anyways.

Even with the small amount of suspension travel in the rear of these cars I wouldn't think that would be too low, especially with stiffer springs. For some reason i had it in my mind that you were low.

Maybe just a simple spring swap to a lower spring rate would help mine.
Keep in mind, you might need to revalve accordingly to match that lower spring rate

Fuck's sake. Might as well just rebuild/revalve now because something sure aint right. I'll just go ahead and throw a $480 double digressive piston in there too.

You might be able to get away without, but just something to keep in mind

Yeah.

Anyway, sorry I've been shitting all over OT and DRIVE threads about my coilovers woes, gotta move on, get back on topic.

Tentatively debating another Mines Rd. run on the 1st or 2nd.

Since it sounds overdamped already due to bounciness I would think not (if it did need a revalve spring rate wasnt the problem to begin with)

Hmmm. What time you thinking? Supposed to finish helping my dad move but might be able to swing it if I dont stop and eat and take del puerto back home right away.

Passed a sign that said Palomares is closed until August 30th now! I've been away for a while, so I don't know if anyone's said this recently. But the last I mentioned, it was supposed to open at the end of June, but now it's two more months.

I haven't driven it since I got back from Hawaii (name drop) yesterday, but if y'all want to get most of that drive in, start from the 580. It's only closed near the 84 intersection.

Be safe out there!

OK, I'm sorry that once again the weekend has snuck up on me and I haven't posted a drive. Today was hectic, busy at work with the holiday weekend coming up, and then my newest nephew was born today!

Anyways super short notice, I know, (unless you heard me talking about it at the East Bay meet on Thursday) but I will go for a Redwood circuit drive tomorrow morning. Those who want to join me, meet me at the iTea in Castro Valley (they won't be open, it's just a meet up point).

Saturday 7/1 @ 7:30AM
i-Tea Castro Valley
20666 Redwood Rd, Castro Valley, CA 94546

Also @Clipdat I may join you for Sunday morning too if you post up when & where...

also discussed at the EB meet, I am planning to do a morning drive on July 4 as well. All of you guys who normally can't make it on a weekend, now you have no excuse haha nearly everyone will have July 4 off. And nobody usually has plans in the morning right?

For Sunday's Mines Rd drive, the meetup spot is Starbucks at 223 S. Vasco Rd, Livermore. Convienently, there is also a 7-Eleven gas station right there, I strongly recommend filling up before Mines if you are under a half tank.

The parking lot area is pretty small, so I usually will park on the road in front, Naylor Ave - there is typically plenty of room to park on the right hand (closest to Starbucks) side.

Meetup time is 8:30-9, will roll out shortly after 9, or whenever everyone is comfortable and ready to go, no huge rush.

I realize this puts us at The Junction before they open for lunch at 11. We'll just have to decide what to do. Maybe a partial Del Puerto or Mt. Ham run and then double back to Junction for burgers?
