Exclamation Moving Across The Country?? What To Do With My BRZ

Hey Everyone I'm new to this forum but I had something I wanted some opinions on!

At the end of this year I will be moving from Toronto to BC and I am trying to find out the cheapest way to do so. I have a 2016 BRZ, wheels coils exhaust, just getting started on it, but I really don't wanna drive it for 44h LOL.

I'm taking 1 bedroom and 2 vehicles, 1 being my BRZ and I'm thinking of putting all my stuff in a truck and having it delivered down there, then driving 1 car with the rest of our stuff and shipping the BRZ on a train. although I'm not to sure I like the idea of that, it is what is cheapest and I really can not afford to pay for courtesy door to door for my car as it is double the price.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas, that would be really appreciated, Thanks !

Do you have any good friends you trust? Buy their plane ticket, and pay for lodging, food and fuel and have them road trip out there with you over three days.

If the train freight is less than what that'd cost, then ship it on the train.

When you mention "truck" does that mean you're hiring a moving company? I'd ask them to see if they could also two a car trailer for an extra fee. They probably don't, but it's worth asking the question.

What I would do...

-Get a u-haul Truck/Van and trailer big enough to load your stuff and tow the "other' car
-Have a friend drive the BRZ
-And you and your friend can alternate between driving the hauler and the fun car
-Fly your friend back

I enjoy your YT content... good luck to you.

The BRZ is great for road trips. If you don't want to put the miles on it, I second the U-Haul truck with car trailer.

I did the one person-two car thing a few years ago. I left the second car at a friend's house, then flew back a few weeks later and drove it across the country too.

Have used them before when I moved halfway across the US. Awesome door to door service.

I moved 1000 miles last year, and I drove one of my vehicles to my new place, then flew back to my old place and loaded up a moving truck and pulled the other vehicle. It's exhausting, but also kind of an adventure, so it was cool.
