I find Chemical Guy's Citrus Wash to be powerful at helping remove crud. Also, a little elbow grease goes a long way. Just take care, use a few clean mitts so that you don't scratch paint by spreading around hard bits of gunk.

Be aware that using lots of soap will strip your wax and can dry stuff out, so after using a high concentration of soap re-wax your car and apply trim / rubber protectant when necessary.
YIKES, there radroach, what kind of soap ya'll using to wash cars down there in Tennessee ...... ?? Lye soap and Bon Ami, scrubbed on with a broom ......

Most store bought soaps made for washing cars, won't take off wax ..... at least in these parts ......

It's just that Citrus Wash by Chemical Guys is strong, and been noted on other forums to strip wax pretty well if you use too much. It's marketed as a strong soap to begin with, I like it.

I mean, you'd have to put in a LOOOOT of soap to fully strip the wax off. But still, I can note a difference in how the wax coating is holding up after a normal wash where I don't wax afterwards.

Well, OK, but they say in their literature that it won't strip off the wax.

Maybe I would need their rep to come out and help me use their product correctly .....

@humfrz they recommend 1oz per 5 gallon wash on the bottle, but in their youtube ads they pour in much more soap than that.

Pfft, soap. Rinseless wash is where it's at.

Also, sealant then wax.

Update

Thanks for all the advice, I finally had the chance to get the sap off today and was going to update you all with my experience. I tried denatured alcohol and it work on my hood but no where else, streak free auto class cleaner worked on windows but I was afraid of using on my paint so I moved on. I went to autopart store and got some automotive goof off and followed the instructions... Nothing. I got pissed and covered my entire car in the goof off and let it sit for 10 mins then washed my car to get it off and behold! That did the trick. It seems like the goof off may release the bond of the sap from the car but as soon as you try to wipe it off its like it causes them to restick so using water to flush it off ended up working. Thank God.

This is why bird crap will damage it so easily though since birds do not urinate separately and the waste uric acid from their system is mixed with their feces. Uric acid makes a great solvent for both urethane and acrylic. You also want to stay away from any products that include ammonia (i.e. Windex) since they are very rough on acrylic coatings.
So I guess ultimately you really should not piss on your car but most everything else is fine.
