Can anyone with coilovers do me a favor and try stamping your left foot down in front of the dead pedal while the car is parked?

If I stamp my foot down on the floor board in front of the dead pedal, the entire car rapidly bounces and reverberates 4-5 times as the energy dissipates. This can't be normal, can it? Or am I just crazy and this sort of thing is actually desirable?

I can't figure out why these AST coils make the car feel so incredibly tightly wound/high strung and bouncy.

Hmm.

Well, sometimes when I listen to music and tap the dead pedal along to a beat at stops my car vibrates a bit and I don't have coilovers.

Isn't that normal? Lol.

I don't know. I feel like I'm going crazy.

Let's meet up so I can try stomping on your floorboard. That doesn't sound weird at all.

But yeah, they really aren't saving any significant amount of time driving that way.

Nope, don't think mine does that.

It's not pure Daft Punk but I'll take new DP any way I can.

Not bad, I've always like Daft Punk, but I have to admit, apart from the Tron stuff, a lot of their recent stuff are starting to sound alike.

I'm old. When Homework came out, it was a big deal because it was a new/different sound.

Sounds a lot like "Get Lucky," which I got bored with really fast.

I had my buddy @thecarfilmer (thanks again!) give me a ride today in his TEIN Flex Z equipped FR-S.

The ride on the $800 Flex Zs was better than my $2,400 AST 5100s. None of the super bouncy thing I got going on, and the handling was equivalent. Wow.
