Interior creaks? Cheap interior parts always have creaks after time and beat-down from the stiffer setup. As soon as you start adding even stiffer parts it'll always creak. Have you driven a WRX before? They are notorious for interior noise. This interior is on par with that.

Have you had much seat time in an FR-S/BRZ yet? The stiffness of the car alone after like 30k miles should start to root out some noise from the interior parts.

i think you might be confusing the creak type stuff with nvh. i perceive creaks to come about from interior parts moving as a result of flex in the chassis. rarely to people modify the actual chassis but the suspension. a stiffer suspension will put a greater load on the chassis yielding more creaks. the ls430 is a good chassis for the same reason the elise is a good chassis. no matter what you want out of a car, chassis stiffness is ideal

FR-S for anything else.

This is what I'm worried about. I live in Cleveland Ohio, notorious for its shitty winters and salt covered, rust producing roads.

I still want the FRS over the Ralliart though. The gas mileage is a big one for me.

I will never buy another Mitsu again. They make some fun cars but they tend to be problematic and rife with annoying issues, have poor warranty service, and there are nowhere as many dealers as there used to be...all bad signs for me.
