Yep that was the group, I missed recording everyone because I stopped filming for the guy below then forgot to restart it until the bridge.

Why's he laughing about it and posing with his leg on it? Wow.

Driving above his means on a public road, almost certainly with stock tires. He's lucky it didn't go further down the hillside, or start a fire from the hot exhaust pipes touching the dry grass.

It's called levity. Or, being glad you're still alive? We all fuck up, some of us just get lucky.

What would be the point of crying about it or getting all mad and whatnot. Just by the picture its obvious he knew he fucked up. Being able to smile through it and laugh past it is a lot more mature than crying like a baby imo. As long as he learned from the mistake then as well that ends well.

I mean, I wouldn't say it's a mere mistake. Curbing a wheel is a mistake and something you can laugh at and say "whoops, I gave my car a battle scar."

In this case someone could have gotten hurt or some other kind of scenario.

It's great he didn't get hurt, etc.

On the other hand, though, who knows how much his car was damaged, if he messed up a road sign that won't be fixed immediately, etc.

It'll probably make his insurance rate go up.

It's not really as simple as just laughing it off and that's it.

You know?

Like I said, glad he walked away from it and can sort of laugh it off. But there are some serious things about it too that shouldn't be taken away from IMO.

yeah I wouldn't judge the guy based on one photo of him smiling, though of course that is so easy to do. You don't know what is really going on in his mind, maybe he is the sort to brush off these things like it doesn't matter to him, because that is how he deals with it. At least on the outside. Instead of being angry or sad or depressed. Some of the guys I spoke to that knew him, said they thought the damage was fairly minor, just to the door that hit the sign post. Though I probably would have been shitting my pants if I went over that edge like that and was looking down into the abyss.

No dont get me wrong its definitely a serious issue. But in that situation you need to stay calm and collected. And being able to smile about it afterwards generally means you are a more calm and collected person.

You're right . I'd rather have a dirt slash rock wall slap me in the face than staring down that hill. Gravity typically wins but by the road marks, that guy is lucky to have had his brakes on. Some of us don't get that lucky with brakes because at that point, the tires have already failed.

Saw 5 twins in the span of like 10 mins a little bit ago (around 6:30ish) in San Jose:

A white brz picking someone up at the diridon caltrain station, a white twin parked with gray/black side skirts and some kinda decal, but stock wheels, etc., white twin parked at another parking lot down the block, silver brz outside starbucks off santa clara, and a lowered red frs/brz with darkened tails and gold/bronze wheels around 2nd st.
