^This. As cool of a car as it is, I'm already seeing dealer mark-up sending this to the $40k range, which puts it in the same class as the RS and STI.

The hype is strong in this one...
Yeah lots of hype and the reviews coming out aren't even that great. Better be damn good to compete with the likes of the Sti and RS. Think I'd rather have the Sti.

Side note, I saw a Fiata on the freeway today with a little wind-up toy lever glued to the back of the trunk. I get doing it on a Smart car or even an older Miata, but the Fiata's proportions aren't weird enough to merit it looking like a wind up toy. It's not even that small. Just sayin.

For less money you could have a new 6-speed Chevy SS. Not exactly the same category of car, but just as fun I would think.
I'd much rather have the RWD sedan with a 415 horsepower LS in it. Arguably more fun depending on who you ask. lol

LOL. I'd take that CTR (never would be able to afford it) over the other CTR in discussion. Hahaha.

My boss actually has a "Fiata Abarth" lol and I kinda like it. I still like the looks of the Miata better but boy does Fiat know how to make em sound good. Have you heard the 500 Abarth exhaust?

Haha, even though I've owned civics and integras before, I've never heard of the Type R called a "CTR" before, so I was genuinely confused.

I agree, the 500 Abarth sounds good. No muffler on the car I think. Like how the Neon SRT4.

Lol. CTR and ITR. I thought you were just trolling along. Hahahaha

I love how you can hear the turbo sounds through the Abarth's stock muffler delete exhaust!

Yeah come to think of it neither have I! I always hear it in slow speed situations like traffic or in a parking garage. The owners seem to always be revving it over and over!

Actually they sound the best at low revs. The exhaust note gradually starts to sound more like a 4 cyl at the higher rpms.

Same here. Maybe it's because I've always been in a car, but I've never heard the turbo spool like that of a stock SRT4.

Na, there are so many better daily cars for the money. Especially with the mark up.

@The Racers Line 2 series for instance. A slow jaunt at MRLS felt like a cruise down La Honda and he was still going 20mph faster then the Fiata and swapped Civic (which were in the dry and trying vs. cruising in damp conditions) I rode in that day. Thats a proper daily lol

An Alfa sounds like a bargain at this point!

Work provided "gourmet"/custom order vietnamese iced coffee this morning. That's pretty much my fav kind of coffee even though it's so strong and a bit unhealthy. So good.

Sometimes work isn't great but it's super nice that they do stuff like this randomly some mondays, especially when it's going to be a hot day after a nice weekend.
