Yep, we could put that right up there with charging doctors and dentists for the time we spend in their waiting rooms ......

That all depends on where he is at. My last employer was headquartered there and it was in a pretty nice area.

Now I have heard that the Sounth Side of Chicago is the baddest part of town and if you go down there you'd better best beware of a man called Leroy Brown.

I'm thinking about buying a bike to commute to new job.

ETA via car and bike is the same, 1-1.5 hours to travel 13 miles.

A lot of pros and some cons but I think I can make it work..

It was 13 miles to my high school. Every year I couldn't wait until it got warmer than 45F. #freedom

Sounds like my old crappy tube TV where only the sound turns off when I hit the OFF button, the screen goes dim but remains.

My old kettle requires a stove but it never breaks.

Yeah!

Less wear and tear on the car, maybe less shit to deal with from shitty drivers, and certainly the health benefits are positive!

I just have to deal with the weather but if its bad, I'll drive in.

Okay not sure about this one lol! Had too many close calls over the years while on my bike. The last time I braked so hard cuz some bitch decided to turn right in front of me while I was crossing the intersection, I managed to lockup both wheels; just bought new brakes for it like the week before lmao!

Speaking of bikes I think it's hilarious how we used to want more narrow tires for speed and lightweight, while it's totally opposite in the car world.

Thats why I said maybe! :P

Way too many stupid drivers here in Seattle who cannot drive at all. Doesn't matter what weather conditions are like, there's always an accident or 10 every day.

If there happens to be an accident to or from work, commute by car will most likely approach 2 hours.

If you don't ride a bike on a regular basis ...... you may wish to re-think that plan. First off, it will take your ass bone several weeks to get used to it. Secondly, your legs may not be up to it. Lastly, you may think people in vehicles don't see you ..... in your car ...... on a bike ......
