Arrow 2013 FR-S STX champion Sold it today

Sold it today! Ultramarine 2013 Scion FR-S. Six speed base model, 14,300 miles. Clean and clear title, CPO car when purchased at Toyota dealer (lease return). This car is the 2016 Met Council STX Champion. Over $6,500.00 in performance upgrades. Driving these cars on the road or track in STX trim is big fun. Included are stock alloy wheels / Michelin tires for winter storage. For stopping power we have Stop Tech pads and SS brake lines ($250). The lines were filled & purged with Motul brake fluid. The transmission was drained and re-filled with Motul gear oil last spring.

Under the hood there is a Mishimoto cold air intake ($310), new Honda Fit battery and Subaru oil cooler ($240). For extra power we have Borla UEL SS headers ($660) mated to a Borla SS Cat back exhaust ($760) combined with an OFT tuner ($500) set for 91 Octane fuel.

Inside is a Schroth Rally 3 harness ($190) with Anti-sub technology, poly shifter bushing and Beastronics nanny override system ($150). The exterior has a 3M clear bra on front 1/4. Rattle Can Red™ tail light lenses and color matched Shark fin antenna.

I keep seeing this on craigslist. It's beautiful. Just too steep for me. Can't find an Fr-S for less than 5 digits. It's killin' me.

WTH?

Almost 3,500 views and not one decent offer for this car? I just do not understand the problem.

Quick question, did that oil cooler actually help as opposed to one that has a 10 row core? Been looking around for an oil cooler solution that won't be too expensive. Beautiful car BTW.

Thanks Ozzy, the car has not yet been on a road course like Road America or BIR. The oil cooler was added to improve engine life if I were to do a few track events each year. But priorities change, etc. DP

Problem being: Ain't nobody got money fo dat. Now if i could make smaller payments and stuff i'd be good, but a $300+ car payment is absurd.

BS. They're just further between. Prepped cars sell all the time. Also, Banks do these things called loans. Harder for a private party sale but an option.

If I were to guess though, the specific prep keeps the super serious away, and the people for whom this is a perfect prep are cheap. It's disappointing, but there it is.

OP, GLWS. Nice looking car. I'm not in the market since I have a STX car anyway, but I pop in because I'm curious, so I've contributed to that viewed count.
