What size wheels did you go with? Which tires?

17x8+42. I'm planning on Yokohama AD08 tires in 235/40-17. No decision yet on TPMS.

Those are great tires. I just put a set of those in 265/40-18 on my Mustang a few weeks ago and I really like them. Plan to make it out to any OVR autocrosses with the BRZ this year? We've got a guy with an FRS that should be out to at least a few events.

Is it a black one?

I hope to be there for the one on 7/1 if I'm not too worn out from the Rallyx the day before. I alo hope to be there on 7/7 as well. The rims be on the car before then. Here's hoping there's no delays.

Yeah, the black one. There is a thread in the OVR Autocross Forum about it.

I'm not sure if I'll be at the 7/1 event, as I'm on vacation next week, and won't be able to leave central PA (6 hour drive) until midnight the night before. Not sure if it is worth it to try and make the event. Definitely planning on being there the following two weekends, probably in the Miata though. My BRZ is supposed to arrive at Hatfield next week when I'm on vacation

Well hope to see you out there at some point. I plan to AutoX the BRZ a bit but I'll likely bring the STI once in a while as well.

I was up in Toledo today to get the Accelerated Performance cat-back exhaust for the BRZ. It's a nice shop with a good crew. Their development BRZ was parked out front, and I think our two BRZs were the only cars there that didn't have 4-digit hp numbers. Supras galore!

So I drove up there to save myself some shipping and Don offered to hang the exhaust for me. It went on pretty smoothly and looks great. There are pictures in AP's exhaust thread, my car looks much the same just black. The tips fill out the bumper cutouts well and make me wish I had the underspoiler to frame them.

Power wise, there's no real appreciable increase on the butt-dyno. But I wasn't expecting anything from an axle-back. There are two greater restrictions in the exhaust well ahead of it, so the cat-back is not where power will be made.

On that note, I got to drive the development BRZ briefly. It had the stock exhaust back on, but it was fitted with AP's intake. It was surprisingly loud. But at the top end, there was noticeably more power.

As for sound, it sounds great. Good volume without being obnoxious, and it sounds pretty good. Personally, I've never been a huge fan of equal-length header N/A 4 cylinders. And I've had turbo Subarus for years now, which are difficult for a 4cyl to top. But as N/A 4s go, this one sounds good.

There is no highway drone. Only if you drive with the rear seat down or removed will you hear the very slightest resonance that I can't be sure isn't just the tires. So no worries about drone.

When romping on it, the exhaust drowns out the intake sound tube. I may remove it in order to neaten up the engine bay. But sound-wise it seems to be a non-issue with this exhaust.

I put together a video to try and convey the sounds. I tossed it together with a couple free programs, so it's not the best, but hopefully it'll convey the exhaust notes.

Overall I'm happy with the exhaust; looks good, sounds good. I'd definitely recommend it.

That doesn't seem to sound too bad at all. I'll agree that no 4 cylinder can really top a turbo Subaru's unequal length headers in aural quality.

I too have installed both intake and exhaust systems yesterday. I put together two image galleries here:

http://www.***********.com/ap-intake-install-gallery/
and
http://www.***********.com/ap-exhaust-install-gallery/

Great capture with the video. My system sounds close to the same, but honestly, I feel it is deeper in tone, as well as it is paired to the intake.

Bottom line, both systems are extremely bad ass and provides the ability to drive to triple digits without resistance. Both systems change the dynamic of the car.

You can also reference the following posts for what I would hope to be interactive Q&A's...

Great Video Draco. I never thought about putting our Go Pro's on the back and driving it around.

The intake would probably drown out the exhaust. It was surprisingly loud.

I like all sorts of weird camera angles. I thought that would get a good idea of the sound. You already have a couple good drive-bys.

So I went to the first AutoX with my BRZ. Had a great time as well as a rather interesting moment or two:
