Yeah, had them since the car went on the boat on the 18th of June.

My dealer is expecting the car on the 13th, so the times seem to line up.

It is very good to pre-order. You just need to have early confirmation that the car is ordered and secured for you.

It depends on your dealer, and car. If you want a GT from small dealer, chances are you'll get one quickly.

Mine used to say "Planned production month: July" but now has been updated and gives me an ETA of 25/08/12.

I put an order in for Grey GTS AT in early June.

Yay... mines on a boat in the ocean somewhere.

Current status of your order: In transit to Australia (imported vehicles only)
Latest Estimated Pick Up Date: 28/07/2012

So it went from Scheduled for Production -> In Production -> In transit.

I'm still expecting delivery on the week of the 23rd...

Hopefully it'll make it a bit quicker if I tell them to skip on the detailing. Some extra leverage to get them to throw in a free tank as well!

Are you kidding me? ! the order went in after mine and is going to be 2 months sooner than mine at the earliest! what is the point of pre-ordering?

i have advised that i will be lodging a formal complaint as the practice of "allocated" car is completely unfair and based on luck rather than "pre-ordering"

sydney seems to get more allocation....
