I'm going to do a car journal/build thread for my paper GT300 BRZ. I'm told it's very challenging.

Will the plane model travel well?

I have never been brave enough to do a paper model.
It will be stripped down and since it is a Navy aircraft I have the side benefit of being able to transport it with the wings separated at the fold.

I've done paper cars decades ago, but nothing since. This was a gift though, so I want to take my time and really give it the attention it needs.

Just realized October 22nd will be a Sunday!

Yay! I can finally meet up with someone and won't have to take time off from work due to stupid schedule

(Though would be cool to hang out for more than one day)

Don't have flight booked yet so have no idea what time Sunday we will arrive.

You may find that exposure to me for an hour is enough anyway!

We should setup a go karting event while you're in the PDX area.

That may be an option depending on the amount of time available. I have a hand full of things that I certainly want to see but maybe some evening time will be open. Not sure about weather though since it will be fall?

You do have a point. I expect the rain to start drizzling on or after Halloween. Cutting it close but we'll make the best of it either way.

We have a pretty fun indoor course as well as the world famous Pat's Acres. Both are suitable for semi-mature adults.

All booked. No going back now.
Land in Seattle at 10:20am on October 22.
Stay at the Emerald Queen Hotel Casino (the wife's required place to stay) in Tacoma. Can't be far from @humfrz ?
Staying there Sunday and Monday nights.

Headed to Spirit Mountain Casino (notice a trend?) for Tuesday and Wednesday nights. I will drive into Portland/Vancouver for the day each day. I know it is a ways away but I am used to ling drives.

Returning to The Emerald Queen for Thursday night and then fly back out on Friday.

There are a couple of museums that I must see but am open to anything else that anybody can come up with and would like to meet as many of the folks from here as I can.

Noted ....... looking forward to meeting you.....

I'll do my best to get the Indians settled down before you arrive. Yep, they carry stories from generation to generation and some of them are still pissed that the Hudson Bay Company (that's YOU, being from Canada) pulled out, many ah moon ago, without giving them the beads and trinkets as promised.

However, they built these casinos and are getting back what's due them from the white eyes ...... one dollar at a time......

My wife will bring plenty of trinkets to make them feel better.
