That has definitely been my observation as well. I attended "Caffeine and Octane" in Atlanta today. When folks walked up to the car, it seemed anyone under 30 or so asked "is it fast" and "is it a turbo" and most over that age asked "have you had it in the mountains, how does it handle the curves?"

Again, generalization but it seemed to break out that way a majority of the time.

This past week:

-One car ran up on me on the highway to take pics
-A waitress was asking me about it while at dinner
-A security guard at work couldnt contain his excitement when he saw me park
-A group of kids in a BMW were checking it out in a Lowes parking lot
-A pizza delivery guy was asking me about it. The convo went like this:

Quote:
Pizza guy - My friend works at Scion, he test drove it and said he doesnt like the way it handled.
Me - (laughing) Does he know how to drive?
Pizza guy - (laughing) Yea, he has a GT.
Me - Ahh, that explains it.

pulled up to a gas station next to a guy in a bmw x5, he gave me props and told me "nice car", some kid driving a 5 series gave me peace sign as I exited the same gas station, had 4 younger blond chics in a kia waving and gawking, driver said "nice car"
when I was washing/waxing car in driveway neighbors like "whoa what car is that? , nice car"... etc.. gave my buddy/co-worker a ride at work whose last car was STi, but now he drives a lifted GMC truck, after the ride he said he misses his STi so much lol... and thanked me for the drift session.

been getting a lot of love lately <3

-Driving around town i got a "Whoa that's the new FR-S, that's hot!!" **Whistles**
-CRX peeled out when it stopped next to me and the driver smirked.
-Teenagers on their bikes said, "That car has like 1 billion hp!!" in a sarcastic voice.
-A pedestrian pointed to my car and told his wife, "Look honey look!"
-Friends are glad i got the car and family is amazed it is so little.

1. Two knuckleheads at the dealership when I picked up the car came over gawking at it. One of them saying to the other that it's a lot like his TC but he prefers the TC. The other telling him that he's an idiot because there's no comparison.

2. Parked several spaces over from a nicely done 2012 Mustang GT so that I could go into RadioShack to buy an aux cable for my Galaxy Nexus. Just as I was getting out of my car a woman pulls up in an older Scion box and says "How is it?!? I've been looking at them." Pretty sure she thought it was a TC....

3. That Mustang owner and I both returned to our vehicles at the same time. Him from the pet store and me from Radio Shack. I get in an unwrap the cable to plug in my phone while he pulls out and drives away staring at my car the whole time and nearly hitting someone.

4. Thumbs up from a C6 Vette driver's wife as they cruised past on the freeway.

3. Some guy in a Tiburon yelled, "Love your car, dude!" just before ripping out of a parking lot with a red 350Z right behind him to play stupid chasing games NOT on a closed course.

4. More police attention in two days than in 6 years of Jeep ownership. Fortunately, I've not been naughty at all.

I've gotten a lot of thumbs up and smiles. A couple today pulled up next to me and told me that my car was beautiful . Made me feel so happy. Overall, everybody that has seen/driven it has nothing but positive things to say about it!

Had a 350Z owner parked next to me checking out my car at Wawa. Talked for a little bit, asked me how I liked it, and the usual "is it fast?". Of course I told him I haven't had it above 4k rpms, but it's pretty good down low. He said he bought his Z new, so he could relate. Told me good luck with it, nice guy.

I had a Dad come up to me and ask if it was supercharged, his kid was in back of his dad's car and yelled through the open window, "Dad, this isn't the car show."

I've noticed some people go into complete jackass driving mode when the get around the car. Not trying to race as much as trying to "showoff" or something. Almost watched a ford ranger end up in the ditch on some back roads.

This, same deal on the freeway. This car is ricer-flyby bait.
