Seems like there's always good and bad cases for every provider =/

I just got my renewal papers and my insurance is going up 10%. The reason why I switched to this company (Belair) is cause my previous insurance provider (Meloche Monnex) was about to raise my rate up 30%. When I called to inquire why, they offered no explanation. Address was the same, car the same, same workplace, not even a single parking ticket. The phone rep said sometimes it's just increasing operational costs of the insurance company... yeah but by 30%?? 70% is insane. 10% is not something I'm bothered by, as it's only $20 a month more, so I won't go shopping around just yet. Need to hurry up and get married soon as I heard your rates drop when your marital status changes from single to married (anyone confirm this?).

I cross shop mustang gt / twins and called my ins. company to run estimates.

Subaru will cost me more to insure than GT. I was surprised.

Just an update on earlier information, my rates increased on my renewal as well. Only about $10 per month, but Geico told me it was because of a correction in rates specifically for the FR-S (and I assume BRZ).

Most of the time, but it depends on your spouse and their driving record.

It's so boring... I actually do crossshop and created accounts at other forums for miata, mustang etc.

It seems like miata and mustang owners enjoy their life and their cars more than frs/brz/86/twins owners.

I feel like if I get the car with multiple names I'd have to compensate dissasisfaction, go online and convince myself by convincing others on a daily bacis...

Honda Prelude I've owned was similar. Nice car, terrific handling for fwd, but just a little overweight and undertired. Would loose to Integras and Civics at autocrosses. So Prelude's forum atmosphere was similar.

That being said will testdrive it just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I owned an ecoboost mustange after my 2013 BRZ and missed that car so much that I traded it in for a 86.

When I had my Integra GS-R, the insurance suddenly jumped up sharply. When I asked my Farmers' agent, they said the car was a "high mark" for car thieves. He told me it cost as much to insure my car as a non-turbo Porsche.
