FT86 UEL Catted Header + Tomei 60s is too loud - Advice?

I had a Tomei 60s which was great with the factory header. Then I went to STX for Autocross and got myself a FT86Speed Factory Catted UEL Header and as much as I like it, I'm blowing sound. The Tomei does have a silencer but it sounds terrible.

So I was leaning towards the Invidia N1 catback to replace the Tomei. Before I pull the trigger, I figured I'd ask here what people think or if other catbacks are recommended.

N1 is gonna make it louder. Get a Perrin resonated or a Q300.
Just my 2 cents!

Another vote for Perrin. I've heard both the Perrin and Q300 in person, the Perrin sounds much better.

Q300/Perrin/greddy SP probably solve the problem.

I was at the NJ Pro, so didn't have a chance to check this.

I ended up getting the Invidia N1 mostly because of price. It is super quiet even without the silencers! Very happy... next step is a front pipe!

Super quiet n1? Did I get a different one because mine is 'neighbors have started giving me bad looks' loud. I've been thinking of headers but not sure how the n1s are gonna factor. Might have to put stock back on.

I have the same header connected to a Tanabe OP+FP to Greddy SP and the sound is very mild. I was actually considering getting a different Axle back but I think the balance with the just slightly louder than factory and the soft FA rumble at low rpm is pretty perfect.

That FT86 catted UEL is also not as unequal as some of the other options, but that shouldn't matter as the muffler is just too loud.

Is the N1 actually louder than the tomei 60s? I always thought the 60s was one of the loudest catbacks you could buy. I have the Greddy revolution RS and it is loud with just header and catback and with front pipe its crazy loud! If it proves to be too loud over time I was thinking going with the N1 to tone it down a little.

I have heard that the invidia is one of the loudest ones out there for our car...so I would stay away from that.

I haven't actually HEARD the N1 on our car, but from experience on some of their other cars (s2000 comes to mind) SO LOUD. Know people who have had to remove them because they got tired of wearing earplugs in their car...
