I've been really tempted by one of these but each car I've seen them fitted to (1 replica and 1 real SARD) they'd damaged the boot lid a little. Definitely be interested to hear how you get on 👍

OK, I'll let you know. But I don't care at all about damages

I had that wing. Regardless of authenticity or not, it will definitely mar up the paint underneath. It will scratch the paint on the lid and quarter panel from flex and movement.

I would put 3m directly under where the mounts contact.

Thanks.
It will not change.
I will never wash the wheels. Just remove the dust on the car. Will never clean tires marbles stripes or cone impacts.

It's a track focus, no bullshit car

That's perfect! Similar to me--the best way to enjoy this car is to not take it too seriously or try to baby it. Don't mind taking it for a drive in the rain or going of the paved roads and kicking up some dirt, or taking a hacksaw to its bonnet...

On that last point: I'm curious to see what your experiences are on the trackspec louvers. Does it look like the water would avoid dumping right on the alternator? Seems to be about the only concern about weather exposure in my mind.

They are still not on the car.
The engine must be really resistant to it. Lotus have exposed engines in the UK rain.
I doubt Lotus did any kind of engineering to address that.

My car will mostly never stay outside at night.
I may tape it NASCAR style if needed.
