7 things to hate about the 2017 BRZ:

1. That I (you) don't have one.

2. It's new car smell. (smells too new)

3. No scratches or dents; so you have those to look forward to.

4. Payments. (My 2013 is paid off)

5. Improvements. You just wanted it to stay like the 2013, but bought a 2017 anyway.

6. The fact that people say the 2017 "should" have a turbo by now.

7. Threads about how you hate your brand new car.

Doesn't help that I have big hands...and don't get me started on trying to do anything while wearing gloves. They could have at least made the knob stick out a few inches from the head-unit to give you something to grip, but no.

Same goes with the hard buttons on the left side of the unit. They feel cheap and chintzy when pushed, and half the time I have to push them more than once before they respond. Also, once again, I often miss the hard button while driving and hit a touch-screen button by accident, because whatever neanderthal designed this head-unit decided to put the "soft" buttons on the left side of the screen, right next to the "hard" buttons.

The touch-screen itself is also laggy, and half the "soft" buttons on the screen are also irritatingly small and positioned poorly.

Pioneer used to be a name synonymous with quality, but they should be ashamed to have put their name on such a steaming pile of hot garbage.
I don't think you will have a better time with the Fujitsu-Ten headunit either it feels really cheap and looks like some Chinese knockoff.

Maybe Subaru should have stuck with Kenwood.

Here is my short list:

1-Seat belt cuts into my neck when the stupid button strap is undone.
2-Car is cursed. Things seem to fall on it, into it, or fly at it out of no where.
3-Kinda smells like burning fluids or clutch or something after it warms up.
4-Every time I park, doods appear out of no where to chat.

Control buttons on the steering wheel? Really!
A steering wheel is for steering the car!
Control buttons are for computer keyboards!
There are utube videos of ppl putting their hands inside steering wheels.
An advanced driving instructor teaches that this will break their wrists , if the car slides or airbag deploys.
My son said not to slide a car , so i said don't drive on dirt/snow/black ice or in the rain!
So he managed to spin into a ditch in the rain and had to be towed out as floods were rising.
My question is , can injuries happen from being caught up with paddleshifters/control buttons?
