Cusco red series vs blue series?

has anyone ever tried both blue and red series and know the difference between both of them?

Their product page say that red is more for sport and blue is for street. But Their comparison page shows their features seems to mirror each other along price points.

http://suspension.cuscousainc.com/

minor question, their site say MSRP is around $1280 for highest, but I can't find that price point at all at sites where you can actually buy them, what gives? (sorry i'm new to this)

They don't sell every single version for our cars. Start with finding out what is available and then go from there.

So far i see places that sells both red and blues, but seems like red is cheaper than blues, why? And why are retailers always more expensive than the MSRP listed in the cusco website?

If you take a look at the recommended stage for each it gives you the answer. Blue's are simply made for COMFORT. Red's are made for STREET/AUTOX/TRACK. My guess would be that the valving and springs are different from Blue's to Red's.

Honestly you should pass on these. Save up a bit more and get something better.

Show me the links. I don't believe you. Are they for our cars?
Do you see those little checks marks next to the features?
Do u know what mSrp means? Exchange rates change.

Maybe you should search a little more before asking questions.

What brands do you recommend? I have had car shops recommend Cusco.

This looks like it's cheaper than the $2k~ that i'm seeing, which is a red for $1440
http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/cusc...2013-ft86.html

This one that looks like a blue is $2374
http://www.titanmotorsports.com/custze.html

one problem i'm finding out is that sites that sells them don't really differentiate blue and reds, only way i can tell is by the picture, which isn't exactly accurate if they just reuse it for all cusco coilovers.

Can you not read the specs? Is it really that difficult? Maybe this pic will help...

If you can't bother to read the description or look at this pic and figure it out, I can't help you anymore. I'd go with RCE/counterspacegarage just because you will get solid advice and after purchase support, which seems like you will need it. Good luck.

As others have mentioned the RCE Tarmac 2's are a great starting point for coilovers. I would recommend them.

i did see that, but i'm asking for people's opinions. just because they advertised this way i read a lot of comments that what is advertised is not always real.

if you have a problem with people asking basic questions, why reply at all?

You've asked 3 questions in this thread.
1. What differences? Links are posted. Figure it out. Companies aren't in business to deceive customers.
2. Price point variance? MSRP, MAP, Exchange rate, Shipping costs, Costs to operate.
3. What brand? like your "what brand tire should I get?" Every brand makes low end and high end products. It's like saying, what brand car should I get? Honda. They make the NSX and they make the Fit.

Like the "what brand tire should I get?" thread, you ask questions but ignore questions to help you make a better choice.

Maybe you should start with...
Searching.
Budget.
Intended use.
Searching again.

Good luck.

thanks, but if you're just going to give generic answers that can apply to anything, then again, why do you bother? you have to know you're not actually helping.

and no, your answer in the tire thread wasn't helpful either, i did what you said already and i want a second opinion, you're just telling me it doesn't matter.

This is where you should start: Is your car your daily? Do you take it to the track or do you just want better suspension feel on twisties? Answering these questions will get you, slightly, better answers.
