That's weird.

Well, if you do end up calling them, you can ask them for a "courtesy" of a lower price, for your inconvenience.

I don't know how many people know this, but a lot of online retailers can't give their best prices online because of "MAP pricing". So sometimes it doesn't hurt to give them a call and ask them if there's any accommodation on the price of the item.

I've successfully gotten an item for $100 less than the website price this way in the past. Sometimes I'll get free shipping, just for asking. Other times no luck, but hey it doesn't hurt to ask!

I'm just not feeling the front 86 bumper at all. The redesigned BRZ bumper is better, imo. Maybe I just need to see the 86 bumper in person.

Also I really don't like the way those black stripes "end" on the trunk. I wonder if the stripes are removable.

Edit: I also just noticed this one has a large goiter growing on the driver's side window!

I didn't mind it at first as it started to grow on me. Then I started looking at lips, diffusers, and aftermarket parts, which started my spiral downward into hate. They even changed the rear bumper so the old diffusers don't even fit. =(

Oh yeah don't even get me started on the rear diffuser. I don't like that extra crease they added, at all.

Subaru did the smart thing in my opinion. Toyota went and HAD to make it look similar to their current ugly lines of cars. Yes, I am salty.

lol. And oddly enough, the Halo doesn't incur the special paint charge that my Monogram did. Luckily, I think the stripes are removable for those that don't like it. Although, not sure if the matte part of the spoiler is (end plates are gloss black).

I'll give them a call, I'm not really trying to lower the price. I just want my wheels and tires by Tuesday so that I can detail them and get at least 3 layers of Collinite wax on them before I mount them onto the Yaris. lol. However, free shipping would be awesome.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of what Toyota did with the front bumper and rear diffuser of the 86.

I don't get it either, lol.

I just walked by the one in the showroom while waiting for my paperwork back in March and noticed it literally said "market adjustment" in the list of fees and it was probably 10k or so.

Pretty sure I heard the flat part of the spoiler on the '17 BRZ (and this 860 as well since it looks the same) is anodized aluminum. So that matte black would be the final color. Might be wrong though.

We collect the addendums that get left on cars we get on dealer trade units. A f'in Corolla had a $3k "market adjustment" on it. Like seriously!? A Corolla $3k over MSRP? Gotta be shtin' me.

And there's another dealership in the area that was falsely claiming Tacoma double cab TRD offroad's "MSRP" to be $46k and offered a "$2k" discount, which still nets them to be $4k above the actual MSRP on the Monroney sticker. It's places like those that gives me a hard time because customers expect us to be like them. /rant lol
