Why? Did you break something on your new car and don't want to buy new parts?

Some do, some don't. Tail lights yes, head lights no (without re-wiring I assume). Search the forum for specific parts you want to fit.

I think he's asking whether older model parts can be moved to the newer model.

Presumably he means mod parts.

Hello gt86 will, and welcome to our forum ......

I suggest you be more specific in your question ...... like, what parts from what year car to what year car.....

If '17 will fit in '13 than it will work the other way. I've got a '17 and the way I find out what parts will fit is searching the forums for people either fitting old mods to a '17 or trying '17 parts in older models. And a little trial and error since mine is RHD which can throw another spanner in the works (FU clutch and accelerator adjustment).

Anything will work with enough time, effort and money. If you're looking for plug and play (lights, HU, external parts, internal garnish) most the answers are already on the forum. Engine questions (FI, tunes) seem to still be in the works but that is true of the older models too, as nothing is really perfect for everyone in that regard.

Every mod I've bought so far fits, you should be good..

Which includes header and everything back, intake, some exterior bits (obviously the front bumper is different though), a couple random driveline bits, little interior bits, lots of suspension bits, and the OFT.

Supposedly axle-back is different, but cat-back is the same. Also the new models have auto-leveling headlight sensors on the rear LCA, not sure if all of the aftermarket units have provisions for this. I know velox is working on including a bracket that will let you retain this.

Voodoo13 LCA's aren't directly compatible with the leveling sensor. I had to make some slight modifications to get it to fit, but it's good now.

Final drive on manual cars is shorter ratio for 2017.

Yes I am aware, I thought the thread was discussing the part compatibility between the 13-16 and 17+ cars.
