It's something about the simple lightweight rwd platform, that I love about it.
This is my first car in a while and hope to keep it for a long time.
I'm still new to manual, but I'm gradually getting the hang of it.
Luckily I haven't stall for couple days now lol.

What's cool was on the first day after driving home from the dealer. I got a subie wave from another WRX owner. Pretty neat being part of the car community.
Congrats On the car, Great Color. Its always nice to get a good jeep wave from other subie owners. Hope you enjoy it and you made a good choice

Bad news. Some careless fool banged it somewhere in delivery. Pretty straight vertical dent on one of the doors and the door handle is scraped up directly above it. I was too eager to take it home that I didn't try to leverage a lower price or free things. Dealership did promise to make it right and fix it to my 100% satisfaction. They're replacing the handle and say they expect they can pull the dent out. A bit worried the repair may cause paint issues down the road and want the dealership to agree to cover that. Any advice?

I also ordered aero pieces all around & tint. So they're going to fix the damage and install everything else in a week or so. Should change the look quite a bit, will be like taking home a new car all over again.

Incredibly happy with the way she drives. This thing is going to be the best thing I've ever bought. Never bought anything remotely new before, so I'm just overwhelmed with how nice this car is. Put 100 miles on it today just cruising around and feeling it out. My favorite thing about the look is seeing the BRZ logo in red on the seats, matching the brembos and the rear lights on an otherwise dark car.

Congrats On your purchase. I would have been just excited and screamed throw me the keys from across the lot. If the dealership said they would take care of you then you shouldn't have a worry about the damage you see now. If you think their is any chance of down the road damage I would suggest to get it in writing or a price adjustment on the vehicle. Of course thats just my .02 but their seems to be some wiggle room with new models maybe you can get a little off or something along those lines. But again enjoy your new vehicle and congrats

Talking I'm in!!!

Ha ha-ha ha-ha!

Oh, I don't have a car yet, but when I do the world will known the name Willie Swopes!!!

Back to reality, I ordered a WRB Limited about the time the PP BRZs were showing up. Ordered a regular one in January and Subie says that it will arrive in June.

The wait is killing me, but at least it will show up during the Summer. Lots of rolling hills here in SE PA.

So June it is. Until then I will just have to sit and wait. I still have a couple of months to...

plan for my world conquest!

Bill

Hello, new here. I recently purchased a new 17 BRZ limited 3800km so far(no crickets). I have experience in autobody repair, engine swaps, and alot of things "car or truck". Never had a turbo or supercharger, hopefully this time I will.

Hi guys, I'm somewhat new here. In my excitement to make a first real post here I accidentally posted my intro in the FR-S general subforum... Oops! I'm learning new things every day, haha. Today I learned that one of the best feelings is seeing another 86er around town and just cruising with them. :P

I'm Matt, and I bought a 2017 BRZ Limited with the Performance Package in WR Blue Pearl a few months ago. Nice to meet you all! I am absolutely in love with this car and I hope to make a lot of memories with it, which I will definitely be sharing with you guys if you're okay with it.

I'm currently conflicted with what modifications I want to make to the car in the future, because it's already really nice stock. I already purchased a new exhaust that should be coming in soon, but an uncatted header would make it ungodly loud (but that torque dip, though...). I did consider putting the car on coilovers to lower it as close to an inch as possible; preferably less because I get really nervous driving a lowered car to begin with. On top of that I've considered new, wider wheels but I'm having trouble picking a set that looks good as well as clears the Brembos. I don't really plan on doing any power upgrades anytime soon just because of warranty and I have fun with the car as it is...

New member on the forums and the BRZ/FR-S world. My wife for the past year also pointed out BRZs on the road saying she loved the look so I decided to surprise her for our 3 year anniversary with a 2017 BRZ Limited with PP. Now just trying to learn about different mods/options as I'm coming from the Honda/BMW world. Looking forward to spending time with the wife tinkering with this car!
