It sounds like you'd like properly dialed shocks/struts... which doesn't mean you have to do it yourself. This would still go back to finding people with different setups to ride along but... just because you can't adjust it does not mean it won't be great.

I'd also suggest taking a step back and saving up a bit more, and/or troll the FS ads for a set of used. Koni does good stuff, but unless you're building to some spec, word is they're on the harsh side for street use and not the go-to for performance. Just because you can adjust them doesn't mean they actually have the setting you want.

After pouring though this and other forums it looks like my best options are 1.-B6s with RCE tarmac springs and some OEM top hats( found a place on the web has them new 60$ apiece) 2- B14s and some top hats 3-RCE tarmac-0 and top hats. I may have to go with the B6's over B14's because I never liked progressive springs on my motocross bike, It always felt weird. The Tarmac-0 are a bit pricey and I don't know if they would last for 4 or 5 yrs like the B6's would. So as of now I think my setup will be new OEM top hats B6's RCE tarmac springs, Velox LCA's and Velox rear toe arms, crash bolts up front. already have the LCA's and Toe arms. Thanks for helping me Decide

I would go for Tein FLex Z or Bilstein b14 if its just for street or occasion track.

I think you've made good decisions - the only question I have for you is why the RCE 'Tarmacs' over the 'Yellows'? If it were me, I may have gone the same route, but your original post makes me think the 'Yellows' may be a better choice for you.

Well because the "Experts" say that RCE yellows are better for OEM shocks valving and the Tarmac's are better for the B6 and the B8 valving. But I don't know I've had neither of them I could be wrong.

FYI you won't be lowered enough to need the rear toe arms unless you are going to be running some insane toe setting.

Edit: Just read the rest of the comment and noticed you already have them. Whoops.

Yea but I got them for a good price. 650.00 for LCA's and toe arms used. and no there not cheap knock-off's.

RCE Yellows are awesome with Bilstein B6. If I pick up a used BRZ soon that's the set up I plan on for my own car.

Not arguing but your own web site says for tarmac's "to be matched with Koni's and fixed perch Bilsteins" then for the yellows "Well matched for OEM shocks" says the samething on 86speed factory's to. But I see in some of the threads where they were recommended to people they said they auto-crossed too so that's where I got that. guess I'll go with the yellows, if you think there better for just DD and Mountain carving.

What about Bilstein B6's and TRD springs? I'm considering the B6's instead of going full on coilovers.

Well from what I have found TRD's are 3.5k front 5.8k back. Sooo It would most likely be Tail happy. The RCE yellows are 4.5 front and rear so it should be balanced.

Ah, well I haven't noticed any tail happiness unless I'm actually trying. But if that's the case, so be it.
