NorCal (Bay Area) OFF-TOPIC Chat Thread
It's been awhile and I miss this community! Still a lurker here but good news! back to the market for a twin!! Needing a second car has been going back and forth, do i need a fuel efficient small car like a prius c? Or something i want to drive and will have fun at the same time? So a preowned vehicle is a choice to go and trying to look for something that will fit the budget. I will always go back to the twin as because i'm already familiar and it's just blast to drive. I hope i can find the right one. Just need y'all opinion on this one that I found. Livermore Subaru. · Exterior Color : Crystal Black Silica Interior Color : BLACK
· Mileage : 27,869 miles · Stock # : 17U0503 · VIN : JF1ZCAC17F9605619 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Car fax report say it had a frontal accident but no airbag deployed. Will I have chance lowering the price on this? Input is very much appreciated. Looking at private seller too and still doing search Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I personally wouldn't buy a vehicle with an accident report/has been in an accident, especially if it's a DD car. As for the Prius c, I wouldn't bother. Unless you need something that small, the regular Prius liftback (4th gen) gets better mpg, more power, better handling, more comfortable, and has better Toyota incentives. I'd also stay away from the Yaris hatchback (unless you find a manual, the automatics are painfully slow since it's a 4-speed). This is coming from someone who owns a Yaris, and has a Prius c and Prius liftback in the family. The new Corolla would also be a good choice if you don't want to spend the money on a Prius. |

Hey @tintumz22 nice to see you posting again and looking to get back into a twin!
I would personally pass on that particular BRZ as the price to mileage ratio doesn't really work in my opinion. Plus, there's the issue that it was involved in an accident. Have you checked craigslist recently? I hate to say it, but there's always a large number of used twins popping up there, some of which seem to have been babied!

@tintumz22
Here are a couple better possible options I found while I was bored. Both of these are under mileage with zero accidents. The FRS is Auto, the BRZ is Manual. @Clipdat is right on the money with the mileage and accident factors. There's plenty out there that haven't been in one at all. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=167382796 https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=173505829 Last edited by kakacarrotcake; 05-06-2017 at 12:59 PM.
