I'm gunna have to try that. I'm a big fan of tossing a thick slice of pineapple on the grill with a burger, smashing them together on a bun then topping with teriyaki sauce.

Well back in the day... Oh wait that is hum's opening line.

Every year my employer holds a big EH&S conference for all the North American plants. We go to a different site each year. A couple of years ago the location was in West Lafayette Indiana.
Since there are about 70 of us we are split into 4 teams and each is given a different coloured bandana to identify which one we are on. At the end of each day we all go out for "team building" which usually consists of some sort of activity and copious amounts of alcohol.

A couple of years back I ended up on the team which had several of the Mexicans on it. We were headed to the team building and since I didn't want to drive they said to go with them in the Yellow Submarine (bright yellow Kia Soul rental). The venue was the Student Union building at Purdue University and we got hopelessly lost looking for it. At one point I asked if we were really headed to the place or if I was actually being kidnapped by cartel members. This started a running gag that soon escalated to a point where I was getting nervous for our safety.

Remember those bandanas I mentioned? Well they all decided to put them on like masks and proceeded to continue driving around Purdue hanging out the windows and yelling "WE ARE CARTEL AND WE HAVE THE CANADIAN", "GIVE US WHAT WE WANT OR THE CANADIAN GET'S IT" and things like that. I went from laughing my ass off to a true fear they were all going to get shot in a very short span of time. Luckily we found the place shortly after and I was able to get them to take the bandanas off before we got out of the car. Not sure a bunch of masked Mexicans wandering through the hall of Purdue yelling they had a captive would have ended well.

Pretty good. There's a place in Sauble, think it's called Beach Burger (on the main drag into town). They do that and add bacon, fell in love with it the first time that I tried it.

Yeah man, good stuff. I usually space on getting pineapple and teriyaki sauce whenever I'm grocery shopping. All this talk about these burgers is making me pretty hungry though. Might have to do that this weekend, providing we don't get the Biblical Deluge they're saying we're supposed to get over the next couple of days.

Not sure what it is doing up that way yet but it has started in Windsor. Raining so hard right now that when I get a glimpse of Detroit it actually looks clean.

Not raining yet, but has cooled off. Hoping to get out of the office before it rains, and not have to come in tomorrow, since I'll be at 40 hours by the end of today.

Looking forward to Monday, as I'm off to Cochrane and traffic will be nothing but a distant memory.

Haven't come across too many moose yet. Think I've actually seen more bears crossing the road than moose while away for work.
