Soft Clutch fix

My first time driving the 86/FRS i put my foot nearly went through the firewall with how unexpectedly light the clutch was. WHAT WERE TOYOTA THINKING?? This is horrible!! My mums soft roader Nissan Dualis has a stiffer clutch :/

Is there any way to make it stiffer with this 'electric' clutch? If anyone knows any DIY ways please post here. Im sure many feel the same way as me

it's really not that bad lol. i find it comfortable, yet sporty. My supra's clutch was like pushing a house with your foot.

I dont want to try push over a tonne of bricks each time i change gears, I've had my fair share of cramped left ass cheeks with race clutches, but it gets to the point where its TOO soft and doesn't belong in a sports car.
If it could be a bit softer than my Cooper S then this car would complete me

I've driven some really soft clutches before aswell (XR4 Fiesta, MK6 GTI Manual) and the 86 really hits the sweet spot I've found.

I found the same thing initially. I think if you focus on being as smooth as possible, soon you'll also find the clutch becomes very natural, progressive, and easy to modulate.

Also, why is this in the "Cosmetic Modification (Interior/Exterior/Lighting)" section?

Anyone else ever play around and see how smooth of a shift you can get while also pressing the clutch pedal as little as possible? I've gotten some damn smooth shifts while my passenger watching my feet didn't even fully believe I pressed the clutch

Yea, the clutch catches so high that you dont need to press all the way down.

Im so used to the stage 3 in my CL that I stomp on the pedal in the FR-S.

Makes it easier to side step the clutch.

That's an understatement though, I literally press it about 15-20% of the way and it's enough to smoothly change gears.
