Great news all (if anyone cares)

I went to a body shop who is very experienced and have a good rep. I got a quote from them and they eventually asked for $4200! LOL And they were going to cut the side panel, change the door and make me wait weeks for parts to arrive from Japan.

So I was really annoyed. I found another place, smaller business owned by a guy with a new yellow mustang. Great reviews and reputation. He quoted me $1100 and he was going to keep the original parts too. He's done work on BRZs 86s and even ferraris.

So for future reference, always go smaller businesses if they have good reviews. They'll probably do a better job too.

I think its always better to shop around.

When I was getting a new bumper + other stuff, a smaller shop was quoting me 3k.

I went to a larger shop (still local, but more well known) and paid less than half of first quote for parts and labor.

Of course, everyone's miles may vary.

Howdy all,

Very happy today. If anyone cares, I'll be posting a update on my fixed side damage.

Paid $1,100 AUD, took 4 days and I'm waiting for someone to install the side tape (what the hell is that tape for anyway?)

AFTER

Time to save for some STi style skirts and lips!

I'm happy that it has been repaired!
86 should be straight.
My camry and corollas have a hobby of collecting dings faster than can be fixed.

London is very nice. Mostly medical and universities. Windsor is Canada's version of Detroit with all that goes along with that. Pick the worst depressed city in the UK and that is it.
