And I hate F'ing rats.

Saturday evening I hear some rustling in a tree out back, and I look up and see a big F'ing rat.

So Sunday evening I set my trusty Victor rat trap (Over 1 billion sold! - says so right on the trap... good! But I digress....)

This morning I go to check on my trap and it is GONE. I think it may have tripped and flipped so I look in the bushes around the area. Nothing.

A bit later I hear some rustling in the bushes about 15 feet from where I set the trap... sure enough there is my trusty Victor with a big F'ing rat wiggling around. How big? So F'ing big that the industrial strength trap didn't break its neck and it is carrying the trap around like a necklace.

I HATE rats. But now there is one less than there was before.

Just so you guys know, I'm actually complaining because we couldn't really get much done today. We were recording the data with pen and paper, and I tend not to carry around rite in the rain paper with me anymore. So I was only able to bank 2 overtime hours instead of 4.

We're doing some specialized work that our normal equipment can't do, so it's all multimeter stuff. That really slowed us down and now we're about 3 hours behind.

Edit: this work is also in the city, so bugs aren't really an issue anyways

Weld a razor blade on the arm of the trap. Make it a spring loaded guillotine. Or use a flame thrower.

Its super crazy to think about all the tings people hae come up with to explain in mathematics. Craziest things ive done would be double integrals, curvature and integrating factors (last week).

To think that leading physicsts have hypothesized about things like the Higgs boson particle in the 60s, then technology caught up to it and was discovered in 2013. Then quantum mechanics and quantum computing makes my brain hurt.
