I'm going to guess the torque app is being a little optimistic there.

Best Mod for 0-60 seems to be to get a manual shift car..seriously high 7s for the auto vs. low 6s for the manual and they have the audacity to charge more for the auto??

I agree. They need to add launch control to the Auto and that would make manual and auto pretty close stock.

You don't think that lighter wheels can decrease 0 to 60 by 10%?

Would no wheels decrease it by 100%?

Or if you're after straight line speed just buy a different car with a better 0-60 number.....

0-60 doesn't matter when I'm coming out of a corner at 80kmh and have the tach needle pointing straight up.

I doubt OP will be exiting the corner at 80 kph on 145 width tires :P

The torque app is giving me the difference between the 2. I do not trust the 0-60 time it gives me. I trust in the difference between the 2. So even if its not running a true 7.2. It still cut .7-.8 off my time.

I meant optimistic on the second time (the 7.2).

There are tests out there measuring the acceleration impact of lighter wheels/tires using professional equipment. The difference is nowhere near that big. Often times it's barely measurable.

The wheels look good though.

Would 17x9 wheels and 245w tires really be that much lighter than OEM wheels with decent rubber?

.
^^^^THIS

Wheel diameter has a bigger impact. Lightness will benefit braking and suspension performance more than anything.

Mine came in around a pound lighter than OEM. 720Form GTF1 17x9 +35 with RE71R 245/40/17. Difference isn't big, but it's there. I can't feel a change except in steering feel and tramlining.
