Having nav is nice. That was the big reason. A nice byproduct is that the stock speakers sound way better now, too.

My 6 year old Garmin still gets me most places. It does scream at me that I am on no know road when I travel all the changed interstates around Detroit though.


Many of may cars had one speaker in the dash and only AM radio so the speakers sound just fine to me.

I've never had a GPS unit before. I mostly used my phone until I bought the new headunit
