Not sure what "steer ahead" means, but maybe that's that particular machine's name for the steering wheel centering.

It's not a huge deal, it's just kindof one of those little things that bothers you.

I'm more concerned/annoyed that somehow my alignment is off after only 4 months/1k miles.

Here's the sheet from the first alignment I had done on the FR-S:

They had corrected the steer ahead spec to 0* and that centered the steering wheel.

I'm having the same issue as you with the Yaris. Car tracks straight, but the steering wheel is slightly pointed to the right. I'll see if I can have an alignment done next week or so, so that I can finally order those wheels and tires. haha

I'm assuming it's steering wheel center as well. Lol.

If you've hit a pot hole or road defect hard enough, it can mess with the alignment, especially if they forgot to torque everything down on the last alignment.

I just scheduled my Yaris for an alignment next week.

Well that is somewhat disappointing. When I ordered the TRD aero stabilizing trunk cover from FT86SpeedFactory, it was listed as "In Stock". However, after I ordered it, the page said "Ships from Factory".

I inquired about this and this was the response:

"This is on order from Japan, so it will be delivered to us, then we will ship it out to you. At this time, I do not have an exact ETA due to it coming from overseas. "

I'm unsure of how/why it changed from being "In Stock" to needing to be ordered from Japan. Lame.

Same thing happened to me with the 949racing wheels with the vendor one of you guys suggested to me. Not sure why vendors do that when the product is not in stock and would ship from the manufacturer.

I guess I could push the issue and get frustrated, but not a lot of good it would do at this point. If it's coming from Japan, it's coming from Japan. But, it would certainly be nice if they kept an accurate stock status on the item's page.
