It happens. At least I was winning early, before everyone else got their game figured out and I started pegging cones...

Oh, and I still need to look further ahead, think further ahead, brake more strategically, get on the gas sooner, and even consider handing off a bit more than I do... also probably should not be doing the super quick 'let go and grab' I sometimes do when the tail goes a little loose.

Sooo... off to another event this Sunday. Only thing you can do is practice more! Hopefully the coaching I've got lined up will help too

And I hope the job thing works out. It will one of these days, but sooner is always nice!

Rewatched all my videos, was hitting the same damn cone every run except for that last one. Also, I have to stop watching other drivers and imitating them since they drive differently and have different cars - even the other Twin owners.

A lot of people noticed I hit the brakes at the weirdest spots.. Probably would've had 2 seconds faster or more!

What if you work in Vegas they must have autocross events in the night time?

I'm sure casinos/hotels could use some IT Support!

Off to look for jobs in Vegas.

I haven't needed them. The last time chains were required, my company sent me all the way down to highway 20 to get to Redding. Which made a 4 hour trip into a 6. The only time I've driven on snow was over by Lassen peak when I brought her home.

I keep thinking I should try them out in good weather just to see if the owner's manual advises against using them for good reason, or just to avoid liability.
