Autopower roll bar, replacement wheel and 2 fresh AD08Rs chilling in storage.

Roll bar is going out to be powder coated wrinkle red (I think... maybe.). Wheels are going out to be powder coated as well since the replacement wheel is a different color. Still dont know what color to go with though. I'll probably make a split minute decision when I drop them off.

Motiv OP/FP arrived, as well as my 69mm pulley, master cylinder brace, and my drive shaft shop aluminum driveshaft. Its starting to feel real.

I can honestly say I was shocked with the quality of the @MotivConcepts pieces. The welds were beautiful, and the piece seemed extremely well made despite being one of the cheaper options on the market right now.

Just waiting on my IRP shifter to arrive, and to drive out to pick up my supercharger kit this weekend, and all parts will be in hand. Everything should be shipped out for paint shortly, and after everything is installed its time to ship the car out to @moto-mike and the guys over at moto-east for a tune, corner balance, fender rolling, and whatever other loose ends need to be taken care of.

Its starting to feel real

Also -
Someone buy this to help fund the BRZ.

Thanks!

I probably wont end up selling the Miata, but the extra money could definitely help with some seats, harnesses, and track time

Grabbed my car from the storage unit and had a fun time driving it in 20* weather with AD08R on the rear.

I finally went and picked up my supercharger, and coincidentally ran into this and a few others at a mall over in Maryland... Not sure who the owner is, but I'm sure it was the guy I spotted in buffalo wild wings wearing a Violent hat and Cambergang lanyard :P.

Annnddd now the car, and all the parts (with the exception of the IRP shifting, still awaiting its arrival) are in 1 location. Gonna start gutting the interior today to have the cage welded in and removing the front bumper to rebuild the splitter chassis mounts/heat exchange install.

Previous owner had the supercharger rebuilt by Jon Bond, and in addition had a catch can installed. Cant wait to have everything installed

Noticed you got a replacement wheel, how'd you come by it if they were discontinued?

Got the shop cleaned up and the BRZ pulled to its home for the next few weeks.

Ripped the front bumper off to take measurements for the aluminum chassis mounts to be made. Thinking about getting a drift armor pro bar to make mounting it/oil cooler/heat exchanger easier.

Interior stripped

Everything will go back in once the roll bar is welded in place.

Ripped some scrap metal out last night.

Apparently the only way to get the front pipe and overpipe out as 1 piece (after your friend rounds the bolt off ) is to lift the engine. Oh well.

Noticed this on one of my rear hubs... Not sure why or how I fucked it up. But, I guess that calls for ARP lug studs and a set of Muteki SR45R lug nuts.

Gave the pan and intake tube ye ole razzle dazzle. Dont know how much this will help, but I'll take whatever its willing to give me. Need more tape, I ran out. A bit sloppy, but I'm not too upset about it. Looks a lot better IRL.

Installed the Driveshaft Shop aluminum driveshaft. I torqued it to stock spec, any suggestions on that? I couldnt seem to find anything. It's going have to come out again anyway to install the IRP shifter (if/when it shows up).

And these got ripped out to go out for ceramic coating.

Slow progress is still progress, right?

I love how the light is just shining down on the bar and the supercharger hahaha.

It runs (read: Idles), not that I didn't expect it to, I just have no faith.

IRP shifter installed and dialed in, and MY LORD does it feel good to run it through the gears. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone. It took all of 45 minutes to install and refine (interior previously removed), and was much easier than I expected.

All thats left -

Drain/Fill all fluids
Tune
Wheels/rollbar powdercoat
Weld in rollbar
Put interior back in
Corner balance
DRIVE IT.
