Had a fun 5 months being a rebel and not having front license plate mounted after getting new bumper.

Got to suck it up and buy one of those tow hook mounts..

Seattle PD is starting to heavily enforce license plate law and being in an orange car, too many eyes come my direction already... dont want to give them a reason to pull me over.

Yep, I hear that and you most likely will for many more years.

I usually pay them more at the end of each year. What bugs me now, is that I have paid into SS for the past 50+ years ...... now that I'm taking back part of what I have put into it (and that they have had the use of my money for all of those years) ........ they are charging ME income tax on what I take out ....

At age 74 ...... DO NOT EVER ...... add up the amount of SS you have paid in and compound the interest on that, look at what you are drawing out per year and calculate how many years you would have to live to get it all back ......

BTW when I was in elementary school here in Canada the teachers already told us that we would get nothing back when we retire, basically work till we die.

Yep, the RTA tax on license tags is a big money maker, so they want to be able to see you coming and going to make sure your tags are up to date.

At least, that's my theory .........
