Car shutdown as soon as I press the brake after install a Clifford 5806X

I've just got installed a new brand Clifford 5806X alarm & remote start system on my Toyota 86 (2017). Everything seems to be "working fine" but now after I start the car with the remote and press the brake it shutdown instantly and I can't move the car, I am missing something here? Is that a security stuff coming from the system? An error on installation? How I can fix this?

Many aftermarket remote starters require you to restart the car with the key/pushbutton after starting the car with the remote. It is a safety feature so that nobody can just jump in your remotely started car and drive away. I bet that is all it is.

And how do I restart the car using the key? I mean what are the steps?
  • Power on the car using the remote
  • Put the key on the hole and ..... from here I am lost

They can all be different. Check the manual for the system. In the case of my wife's new car she has to simply push the start button without stepping on the brake.
Odds are you just have to turn the key to the run position. DO NOT go too far and hit the start position with it running. If you do that noise will haunt your dreams forever.

I feel like I will burn my car computer or internal system forever, could you take a look here https://www.manualslib.com/manual/75...6x.html#manual and let me know what I should look exactly?

My guess was right

Remote Start Features

Key Takeover

When you are ready to drive

The system keeps the engine running until the vehicle is ready to be

driven. To perform Key Takeover:

Disarm the system and enter the vehicle, do not step on the foot brake.

insert the key, turn it to the run position, and then step on the foot

brake, the remote start then turns off.

The parking lights turn off to indicate remote start is off, and then

after a few seconds the remote plays the Remote Start Off mes-

sage.

The vehicle is ready to drive

Ok, so if I am following you I depend on both the remote start and the car key to make the car ready to drive? Is this a one time thing or I must do this all the time?

The car has four possible positions on the key: LOCK, ACC, ON and START, is ON the right position in this case?

You need to do it every time. Just put the key in and turn it to on and then step on the brake to turn off the remote start. The car will just keep running as if you had started it with the key in the first place.
The whole thing works that way so that the key must be present in the car and nobody can steal it while it sits running and unattended.

1) remote start the car
2) put key in the cylinder and turn to ignition on position
3) put foot on brake (remote start disabled) and car will still be on

I just went through this whole conversation with the wife last week so I took pity. Besides there have been worse questions asked and OP was at least appreciative!
