Pretty nice gains, just not a fan of flex joints.

I don't even get to the flex joints... not a fan of a company that consistently steals designs.

I have the exact headers as well as a front and over pipe. They perform and sound good, but the flex pipe serves no purpose, just a million little exhaust leaks and a strange sound produced because so.

Oh, and because of the million exhaust leaks, you'll want to disable an O2 sensor code, i forgot which one exactly, but it will make the car run much better, otherwise you'll appear to be running lean and the car will give a pinch more fuel than needed.

Disabling the code won't prevent the car from running poorly due to exhaust leaks... it just prevents it from throwing a code to say "hey, I think it's running like crap"

I disable an O2 sensor code, forgot which one, but fuel trims fixed themselves very well. It was also mentioned in a thread about the code, i'll see if i can find it.

I believe that trims got better around the same time as you disabled the code, but I'm pretty sure they're unrelated. Exhaust leaks, especially leaks near the header, are not good. They need to be fixed when they're there.

Well, i'm sure the leak wouldn't fix itself, if anything get worse as bolts loosen over time. The PLM header's flexpipe is where it leaks, but my trims combined are only +/-2% now, where as before disabling the code it was nearing 10%+.

Sorry, I haven't been on the forum in a couple days but I think I have some logs saved. I put a perrin intake on last weekend (I know it doesn't give any power but i needed to replace my factory intake box for other reasons) and have been working on maf scaling. I do know the few times I logged after the header that I didn't record any knock

Thanks! If you get bored and have a log of it with the stock intake, I would be super curious to see it. Realistically speaking its almost $300 cheaper than the OFH so I'm leaning towards that. But, I run the OFH on my other cars so I dont want to stray away if there's any concerns with knock. Thanks!

Exhaust gasses escaping from the flex joint would be something that would prevent me from purchasing this piece regardless of price or dyno results.

It sucks that the heat goes straight to the engine bay, the header is right below the oil pan, and the sound it makes isn't great. I went with it because it was cheap, i don't plan on spending more than 500USD for a part yet, and headers are a good power adder but most are nearing a thousand. When i near the end of my build, i'll be replacing the parts i cheaped out on and topping it all off with a supercharger.

Decided to pull the trigger on one of these. Will be running it with a muffler delete on my 2.0 and OFT. I'll post a review shortly after I get it.
