I honestly have these tires because they came up for a fantastic price. Only slightly used, looks almost like new, and cost what 1½ tire is new So not the end of the world if I have to buy another set, I was planning on getting the RSR's from the beginning.

Sorry for hijacking your thread! Good luck with the braking issue, sounds like no fun at all tbh.

That make a lot more sense! Don't blame you for jumping on that.

It's all good! Thanks

Two year throw back. Car has come a long way, and I am excited for what the future holds.

Hey man, you ran into my buddy Logan with the blue BRZ a few days ago I believe. He sent me pictures and I thought it was so sick for one of us to finally find someone who has performed a widebody installation AND a turbo installation. I saw the pictures he sent me and didn't really think much of it, but I remembered I've been following this thread for awhile and I always get the post notifications on my phone for it. I came to your thread today not realizing it was the same car and when I saw the pics here I was dumbfounded because I didn't realize when I saw the pictures my friend took that it was the same car. I also feel like an idiot because the few times I've come here I've never noticed the Missouri license plate. I believe he got your contact info, so we all should definitely meet up sometime. My friend and I both have similar plans for our cars so it's nice to have finally found someone who has widebodied and boosted their FRS somewhat close to us. Anyways, love the build man, hope I get to see it in person soon.

PM me so I can get your number/instagram pls

- Nick

Thinking about putting the swap on hold and working on Chassis. Wing, Splitter, Bushings, a few braces, Wrap/Paint Kit, New Front/Rear Bumper.

Looking at GTC-300 from WRX and making it fit the FRS rear trunk, or just running the GT-250 for the FRS. Also deciding between custom splitter (Again) or just getting a MPH or Velox Splitter.

Well that thought didn't last long. Ordered most of the rest of the parts for the swap. At this point I only need Mounts/Driveshaft/Exhaust/Some kind of CAN Bus device. I have the MRS Unit (which you can get more info about/pre-order *here*) pre-ordered with no ETA. Not too big a deal, I should still be able to drive the car if I need/want to.

Still waiting to hear back from Vorshlag on where my transmission that I ordered 4 months ago is. Finally got a hold of them last week and they said they would email me an update. (no update yet, do I call or do I wait like I did for the transmission?)

Weighing options as to what Mounts/driveshaft I want to go with. Element tuning has said they will be offering a driveshaft for those running Magnum XL with CX Racing Mounts. Would take about a week to get to me vs. 4-5 weeks for Vorshlag (whenever they actually become available). Though I think Vorshlag is still THE best option. Just hate the waiting/lack of communication from Vorshlag that seems to be going on. Though I know they are a very busy small shop.

Exhaust I have pretty much decided to go with CX Racing Header to y pipe. Attaches directly to any FRS/BRZ 3" exhaust. Makes it a lot easier and is a good price (hopefully it is a good product as well haha)

More updates soon.

That is a deadly looking FR-S sir. You're certainly selling me on the fenders. Did you have to get big spacers?

Thank You! I have a 10mm spacer in the front and a 25mm spacer in the rear.

First of the three boxes showed up today.

Not happy about this. though damage isn't too bad. Summit could have done better on packaging.

I like the 300 over the 250...250 looks kind of generic.

It's all about how it works though haha. I do agree though, much prefer the looks of the 300 vs 250.

This happened today:

Got it home on jack stands, started tearing into. Got Everything ready to almost pull it out. Just need to drain trans and pull out driveshaft. Few other small things.

Found an issue with radiator relocation brackets I have:

Seems the larger FullBlown Radiator along with the relocation brackets pushes the Condenser into the frame.

I was hoping the heads were possibly salvageable...

nope....

What let go on the FA20?

Edit: don't know the FA20 very well but it looks like a valve seat or something broke off on the valve, valve hit the piston and bent?

...well...that's motivation...sorry itvtook out the motor though.
