Header quality

Hi I'm still new to all this and I just wondering if the quality of a tomei header is a lot better than a cnt or a tusdo header. I would rather save my money for other mods if there isn't going to be a huge difference. Also raspiness is a big factor. Thanks!

Yeah I was also looking at that and I do want UEL. But even then the cnt and tusdo are a lot cheaper and I can get a used tomei the same price as a new Gruppe.

Get Tomei. CNT and Tsudo or junk brands that may or may not have fit issues due to crap quality control

Tomei quality is quite good for its intended price range. In this market, a majority of systems are "you get what you paid for".

If you want to save, go peruse the classifieds here, usually some good pieces floating around on there.

One of the worst feelings you can get is when you cheap out on a part, then have to spend extra money/time to fix issues with it. A used header in good shape will save you some cash and then you'd just need new gaskets.

+1 for Tomei...would buy again. I'm on stock front pipe back (Gruppe-S overpipe) and the car has a nice growl when you get on it. 0 rasp.

For the people that have "cheaped out" on the Gruppe-S header and are "getting what we paid for", like myself, where are all the complaints because I can't find any?

Tomei is rearly good quality, gruppe s is good enough and has good fitmemt etc.

stuff like 1320 cnt tsudo and ebay headers are usually cheap clones, they will work ok if you can get them to fit without leaks, often the flanges are misallined or warped and the cheap stuff oftem corrodes and cracks with use.

when you consider the price of a good set of gaskets and install time and hassle the real cheap stuff is not worth the trouble.

tomei is great, gruppe s is good quality especially for price , very few if any issue with either of those brands.

if your on a budget go the gruppe s , or a used tomei but remember always use new gaskets when fitting any header

Because the gruppe-s is basically a white box Tomei. No body said it was crap. The general consensus on the forum is just the opposit in fact
