Following a checklist and reading the AFM are two totally seperate issues.

Maybe the aircraft has a hidden receptacle you didn't know about!

I doubt it. Although I do fly like 4 different versions of it and each one has different factory options...

So I turned the car on (engine not-running) and switched the G-on but it still doesn't show what gear I'm in..

You got to be in gear while the car is running. Try shifting into reverse if you want to be stationary with the clutch in.

It happens unfortunately sometimes you get a plane with short wings on it but you can usually just hit the PCL harder and overcome the drag with more thrust...

Yeah. Pretty much. They moved to Chicago now, so you can't kick Seattle about it any more.

They do make some nice machinery though. Likely won't be seeing this at airshows now.

It only shows the gear with the clutch out. It baffled me for 1/2 an hour. I soon got bored with it and turned it off anyway. Was fun playing Shift Hero and trying to hit the light at first though.

So, providing that P000C does end up killing my engine, and I'm not covered by warranty, y'all think it'd be worth it to pick up a manual engine and tranny?
