Yea, even around our biggest city (Portland) the rush hour is like 15 minutes... If you have to go down to Mass a lot however it can be a bit of a pain.

I'm a MT guy... always have been... I even had an Audi A6 with a manual & the 2.7t (a bit of a rare bird). In my truck I want an AT because I'm just not that involved in the experience.

When you get it come and play: http://www.cumberlandmotorclub.com

I did try both in the FR-S. The AT is OK but I don't care for the paddles. The car also didn't feel as alive to me.

This car is best with the manual IMHO. You'll pick it up in no time. btw, I'm doing like 31.5 to 32 mpg with the manual and taking it easy.

Mike

I have to say...no regrets at all....it's fantastic. The red has a spot in my heart...so yeah, an intro thread with pics is coming soon! (Hopefully tomorrow) Unless I have too much fun driving it...then it will take longer... Once again, thanks for the help!
Congrats and welcome the the Firestorm AT family!

Ironic enough, sometimes I'm like "damn, I wish these gears were a bit taller." Shift, SHIFT, SHIFT.

Up for the Kanc run tomorrow? Hopefully it's still happening. Nobody has posted a meetup location...
