Yeah, I've noticed that too. Not that I'm anywhere near ready, but even just transitioning my foot from brake to gas or vice versa they're noticeably not as even/lined up as I'm used to from driving other cars.

The weird thing is I thought I saw someone on here say the reason is for better heel-toe'ing, since you'd probably blip the accelerator once you are already pressing the brake. I could be wrong though.

I think it's more for safety reasons of not accidentally hitting both brakes and gas at the same time with the same foot.

I'll try that one tonight if I get home early enough. Won't be almost freezing cold tho since I left it in the fridge.

Fridge temp is preferable. You don't want beer to be too cold. I hate places that pour their draft beer into frozen pint glasses. Makes the beer so extremely cold that it just tastes like ice cold liquid and hides a lot of the actual flavor of the beer itself.

Also, why do you have a carbon monoxide detector in your garage anyway? What's the point?

Really? I love really cold beer.

The CO detector has always been in the garage (I'm renting the house). I guess the owner wants the tenants to be as safe as possible????

I just installed the gaskets onto my 17 tails with that 3M weatherstripping adhesive. Man that stuff stinks bad. I think I'm high and/or brain damaged from the fumes.

Trying out the Hofbrau with dinner (Filipino spaghetti this time). So far, I'm liking it better than the Weihenstephaner. Has more of a smoother taste.

Went out driving with my dad into the Sunset in SF for some practice on busier streets and hills.

Went fairly well! Stalled once forgetting to put the clutch in at a stop sign.

Stalled a couple other random times, and accidentally brain farted starting from third gear at a stop sign but realized quick enough.

Took her up to 5th gear and stuff.

Definitely still need to fine tune the the transitions and stuff and not brain fart, but otherwise it was great!

Such a fun car to drive.
